Moonshot — Privacy Policy

Moonshot does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app makes no network connections of any kind.

In short

• No data collected — the app collects no personal information of any kind.
• No accounts — there is no sign-up, sign-in, or account system.
• No analytics or tracking — no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking of any kind.
• No third-party SDKs — the app contains no third-party code that could collect data.
• All data stays on your device — nothing is ever sent anywhere.

Location

If you grant location access, your coordinates are used solely on your device to compute moonrise and moonset times. They are stored only in the app's local preferences and are never transmitted anywhere. Location access is optional — you can instead search the built-in list of world cities or type coordinates by hand.

Data stored on your device

Your saved spot and app preferences are kept only on your device. All astronomical calculations happen on-device. Deleting the app deletes all of its data.

Sharing and selling

Because no data is collected, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or lose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised.
